The current factsheet on recycling is now available. It addresses the recycling of copper, particularly the role of pre- and post-consumer scrap. Copper can be recycled without any loss of quality, leading to significant energy savings and a reduction in CO₂ emissions. In many cases, a physical separation of the two types of scrap is unnecessary, as both can be processed for the production cycle.
